The Easiest Way To Put In Clip-in Extensions for Thin Hair

Step-by-Step Guide to Applying Clip-In Hair Extensions on Thin Hair

Prepare Your Natural Hair
Before installing clip-in hair extensions on thin hair, it's crucial to prepare your natural hair properly. This not only simplifies the installation but also ensures a seamless blend.

Start by washing your hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove any product buildup. Dry your hair using a blow dryer on medium heat. Once it's about 90% dry, detangle it with a wide-tooth comb or a detangling brush for smoothness.

Section Your Hair
Create a horizontal parting at the nape of your neck using a rat tail comb. Clip the top section of your hair away, and brush through the bottom section again to ensure it’s tangle-free.

For thin hair, avoid placing the clip-in extensions too high on your head, especially near the temples, as they may be difficult to blend seamlessly.

Attach the Clip-In Extensions
Take a weft of clip-in extensions and position it along the teased section of your hair. Once you're happy with the placement, snap the clips shut to secure them. Release the top section of your hair and repeat the process until you've achieved your desired look.

Blend the Extensions

After attaching all the clip-in extensions, gently comb through your hair to blend the extensions with your natural hair, ensuring a flawless finish.
